At House of Olivewood, family is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re Dawn and Cornel, husband and wife, best friends, and the proud founders of this little dream that began back in 2019. We were married in August 1986 and are about to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary — a milestone that reminds us just how important love, family, memories, and togetherness truly are.
We have two wonderful daughters, who have grown into incredible women with families of their own, and together they’ve blessed us with four beautiful grandchildren who are absolutely the light of our lives. Everything we do, both in life and in business, is rooted in creating something meaningful for our family and for future generations.
What started as a small laser engraving business called Lazer Craftz soon became something much bigger than we ever imagined. We discovered a deep love for beautifully crafted olive wood products — each one unique, full of character, and shaped naturally by time itself. That love inspired our new chapter and our new name: House of Olivewood.
To us, olive wood represents everything we believe in — warmth, tradition, sustainability, strength, and beauty that lasts for generations. No two pieces are ever the same, and that’s exactly what we love most about it. Every grain pattern, every curve, every detail tells its own story. That’s also why personalization means so much to us.
